To CA & Back

On Saturday night Jake and I worked and then drove down to Phoenix to fly to CA. Our nephew, Liam, was being baptized on Sunday.

We also had the pleasure of meeting our other nephew Grant. He is only a few months old.

Right after the baptism and lunch, we went back to the airport and flew back to AZ. We grabbed something to eat and started the 1 1/2 hour drive back up the hill. About 1/2 way back, there was a huge car accident and the 17 freeway was stopped for about 40 minutes. We eventually got through. Jake had to work at 10 that night. We only had time to drop him off so he could work. I went home, got about 3 hours of sleep and went back to work at 4am. Wow, what a long weekend. It was great seeing the family and our nephews though!

Jake's 26th & Babies

Well hello there. It's been a while huh? Yes it has. Jake and I now have a new internet provider and it's great. I can actually do things without it taking all night. So... here's an update: Baby Liam is doing wonderful. He is over 7 lbs now! Sam and Sara are expecting their first boy Aug 15. Here are some 4D images of him:

Isn't it amazing how detailed these pictures are? I'm eager to meet Baby Corder soon.

We went back to CA for Jake's 26th birthday. It was a great day. We went to Laguna Beach for the day and had lunch down there. Then there were about 15 of Jake's family and friends over for dinner later that night. Overall it was a good trip, pretty short though.

We went out with Saremy tonight. We went to a new burger place called Brown Bag Burgers and Frozen Yogurtz afterwards. The burgers start at 7 oz and go up to 20 oz! 7 was too big for me. Frozen Yogurtz is a frozen yogurt bar where you pay by the oz. So you can get as much yogurt and toppings as you want! Yummy!

Well, that is pretty much all I have for now. I'll be sure to update more often since my computer is so much faster now! Until then...

IT'S A BOY!!

On June 3rd we got news from CA that Jake's brother, Josh, and his wife, Stacey, were going into labor with their first baby, and our first nephew. Stacey underwent a C-Section and Baby Liam was born 2 months early. He was 3 lb. 9 oz. and very healthy. He stayed in the hospital for about a week and a half and then was sent home. I can't wait to meet him!

Jake's other brother, Sam, and his wife Sara are due in August with their first baby too! My mom and I are going to CA next weekend for the baby showers.
